The bubble will expand because thecharged particles uniformly distributed on it cause them to repel each other due to the electrostatic force. This willhappen to both positive and negativelycharged bubbles because of thecharge on it. Example: If a soap bubbleis given a negative charge, then its radius increases.

The bubble would expand due to electrostatic force as the charges on its surface repel each other - the surface expands to minimise the energy in the surface.
