what happens when a strip of zinc is dipped in a copper sulphate solution? What type of reaction is this? Also write equation?

This type of reaction is displacement reaction.
the equation is CuSO4 + Zn----> ZnSO4 + Cu.

When a strip of zinc is dipped in copper sulphate it displace copper as zinc is mote reactive than copper. This is known as displacement reaction.
Equation -
Zn+CuSo4 > ZnSo4+Cu .
