In this reaction, ammonia gas reacts with acid to form ammonium ions. Ammonia (a weak base) reacts withacetic acid (also weak). The resulting solution is nearly neutral, but it will be slightly basic because ammonia is stronger than acetic acid. Hydrogen sulfide gas is bubbled into a strong base
