What happens when acids reacts with metal carbonates and bicarbonates how will you test the gas produced in above reaction

Answer:

pass the hydrogen gas through a soap solution taken in glasa.The soap bubbles filled with the gas rise up.and bring a burning candle near the soap bubbles.The bubbles burst with a pop sound.This shows that the gas is hydrogen.
