What happens when afew drops of methyl orange are added to a solution of sodium carbonate added to a solution of sodium carbonate

Sodium carbonate is a mixture of a strong base NaOH and a weakacid H2CO3.

Methyl orange turns reddish in acid and yellow in base.

Therefore, when methyl orange is added to sodium carbonate it turns yellow
