what happens when air is kept inside electric bulb

when the air is kept inside the blub so probably there won't be any effect on the transference of light ..

because it don't need medium to be transferred .

and if there would have been sound so the removel of air will results in no transference of sound waves because sound waves needs medium where as light waves don't need medium ..

it's the Reason when you evacuate the air completly light get transmitted
