what happens when ammeter is connected in parallel?

Th dinky thing 'll happen is the reading 'll be wrong as in parallel connection the amount of voltage remains the same not the current. So to measure the amount of volt voltmeter is required not the ammeter it 'll not show the proper amount of voltage only try to show the amount of current flowing in it.
