what happens when an acid reacts with metal carbonates and metal hydrogen carbonate. write equations of the reaction which takes place.

when acids reacts with metal carbonates, the products are salts and carbonic acid
ex:-HCl+Na2CO3===>NaCl + H2CO3

when acids reacts with metal bicarbonates, salts and carbonic acid is formed .
ex:-HCl + NaHCO3===>NaCl+H2CO3
