when an acid reacts with base it gets nutrilized or become neutral as acid looses it's acidic character and base looses it's basic character and becomes neutral.ex any bite releases formic acid and calamine solution base is applied to the skin which neutalises the effect of ant bite .if it helps pls mark as brainliest
