What Happens when an iron nail is dipped in to aqueous copper sulphate solution? Write your observations and support it with a suitable chemical equation.

When iron nail is dipped in

Copper sulphate solution it undergoes color change

The iron nail become brownish color and the copper sulphate solution color fades due to displacement reaction

Chemical reaction follows:

Fe + CuSO4 ------>. FeSO4 + Cu
