What happens when animal cell is kept seperately in hypertonic and isotonic and hypotonic solution?

hypertonic solution is nothing but more solute concentration outside than inside the cells.. hence the solute concentration moves in to the cell down their concentration gradient.

in isotonic solution the solute conc. is same inside and outside the cell. hence no movement of solute particles in and out.

in hypotonic solution- solute conc. in the solution is less than the solute conc. inside the cell. as the solute conc. inside cell is high , solute particles starts moving outside the cell along down the conc. gradient.
