HEY!
_______

REACTION OF SODIUM HYDROXIDE (NaOH) WITH ZINC ―

When aqueous solution of NaOH is reacted with Zinc (Zn), sodium zincate is formed and hydrogen gas is evolved.

Equation :-

2NaOH \: + Zn = Na_{2}ZnO_{2} + H_{2}

REACTION OF ALUMINIUM WITH SODIUM HYDROXIDE ―

When aqueous solution of sodium hydroxide is reacted with aluminium it gives sodium aluminate and hydrogen gas is evolved.

Equation :-

2NaOH \: + 2Al \: + 2H_{2}O = 2NaAlO_{2} \: + 3H_{2}
