what happens when bicarbonate is heated

when bicarbonate is heated it releases hydrogen,oxygen and carbon into the air .condensation forms the sides of whatever bicarbonate/baking soda is placed as hydrogen and oxygen mixes and as carbon and oxygen also mixes carbon dioxide is also released. the bicarbonate itself may darken in the color.
