What happens when Blue litmus, Red Litmus, Phenolphthalein, and Menthyl Orange when they come in contact with a common salt solution? Urgent pls answer

Answer:

As the common salt (NaCl) is Neutral in nature because it is made up of strong acid neutralised by strong bases . So, there would not be any changes on the litmus papers, Methyl orange and phenolphtalein remains colorless.

Methyl Orange can turn Yellow when the brine process is done with NaCl to make ---> NaOH(a strong base).

Otherwise nothing changes.
