Its a single celled organism and unicellular organisms reproduce by cell division n not by budding.

Raj2020: Hello Riahana, Yeast reproduces through budding(a method of asexual reproduction).
Riahana: But yeast is unisexual, n budding happens in multicellular organisms na?
Raj2020: No ,Riahana.Thats not the case here. Budding can occur in unicellular Hydra.
Riahana: But hydra isnt unicellular
Raj2020: oops! I meant yeast!
Raj2020: Got it,Riahana?
Riahana: Budding is when a small part of the organism bulges out.N if the organism is unicellular how can the part bulge.
Raj2020: Hey check your inbox i m sending u the whole thing,Riahana.

Hello,

When buds formed in yeast don't separate, they form a colony of buds or a chain of buds attached to one another.
