hey mate here's your answer
Carbon dioxide passed into lime water gives a milky solution, due to precipitation of an insoluble suspension of calcium carbonate. The milkiness disappears since calcium bicarbonate is water-soluble.
I hope it helps

on passing the carbonDioxide gad through then precipitate is formed.and milky sol.
Ca(oh)2+Co2 gives caco3(precipitate)+H2o .

onpassing excess co2 the solution will clear again .
Caco3+H2o+Co2 gives Ca(hco3)2

it may help you..
