Heating carbon dioxide (CO2) will cause it to change state, depending on what state it is in. The solid will not melt, however. It will change directly into a gas, which is called sublimation. If we start with the liquid, it will boil when heated, and a gas will result..................................................

Only physical change will happen , as CO2 is a stable compound chemically.

the gas will absorb heat and become hotter.  The liquid will evaporate immediately.  Solid will convert easily into gas.  It is color less. so we wont see it.  perhaps liquid and solid has light color  or look like water - colorless.
