Above reaction is Fittig reaction and results in the formation of diphenyl

Haloarenes react with Na metal in presence of dry ether, the halogen atom present on haloarene is replaced by aryl group. When chlorobenzene is treated with Na in presence of dry ether biphenyl is formed and this reaction is known as Fittig Reaction.
