When we pass CO2 gas from lime water it gets turn milky.
Ca(OH)2 + CO2_______CaCO3 + H20
If excess of CO2 gas is passed through lime water, milkiness will disappear due to the formation of Ca(HCO3)2 which is soluble in water.
CaCO3 + H2O +CO2_____Ca(HCO3)2

When CO2 passed through Lime water Ca(OH)2 the it forms a white precipitate that is called Carbonate Precipitate and Hydrogen.
Ca(OH)2 + CO2 ---------- CaCO3 + H2O.
And When excess CO2 passes through CaCO3 + H2O then it forms Calcium Bicarbonate.
CaCO3 + H2O + CO2 -------- Ca(HCO3)2.
