magnetic flux lines of the magnetic feild cuts the coil causing an end to be induced across the coil ends . if the coil is connected, a current will flow in the coil.
caution : this happens only when there is a relative motion between the coil and feild.
1. Coil is stationary and the feild is alternating (AC)....emf generates
2. Coil moves but the feild is stationary (DC).....3emf generates
