=>when copper sulphate is heated for some time, the blue colour disappears and it becomes white-gray in colour.

This is because the water molecules are lost on heating and copper sulphatepentahydrate is converted to anhydrouscopper sulphate.

The colour of copper sulphate crystals before heating is blue and turns white after heating.

Quartz crystals lose the piezoelectric effect when heated above the Curie temperature of quartz—573 degrees C.

At that temperature alpha-quartz becomes beta-quartz.
