what happens when copperoxide react with concentrated nitric acid

when copper oxide reacts with concentrated nitric acid, copper gets oxidised and forms copper nitrate, nitrogen dioxide and water.

Cu + 4 HNO3 --> Cu(NO3)2 + 2 NO2 + 2 H2O
