sulphuric acid Will react with the base present in egg shell that is calcium carbonate..... than metal salt Caso4 + h2O+Co2... will form.

Answer:

Egg shell contains calcium carbonate. When HCl is poured over egg shells, it dissolves in HCl to form calcium chloride and water and carbon dioxide is liberated with effervescence.
