When Di Hydrogen reacts with the Halogens, it forms Acids. Reactions of the formation of the Acids by the action of Hydrogen on Halogens are given below

For Example →

H₂ + Cl₂ ----→ 2HCI. (Hydrogen Chloride)

H₂ + Br₂ →2HBr. (Hydrogen Bromide)

H₂ + F2 ------→ 2HF (Hydrogen Fluoride)

H₂ + 12 ------→ 2HI (Hydrogen lodide)
