Answer:

The zinc granules when reacting with the hydrochloric acid resulting in the formation of a salt called as the zinc chloride and results in the formation of the hydrogen gas.

Zn+ 2HCl\rightarrow \mathrm{H}_{2}+\mathrm{ZnCl}_{2}

Zinc granules + hydro chloride acid  \rightarrow      hydrogen gas +  zinc chloride

Hydrochloric acid when reacting with the baking soda it results in the formation of salt called as sodium chloride.

HCl +\mathrm{NaHCO}_{3}\rightarrow NaCl + \mathrm{CO}_{2} +\mathrm{H}_{2} \mathrm{O}

Hydro chloric acid + baking soda \rightarrow sodium chloride + carbondioxide + water.
