what happens when dilute sulphuric acid is poured on a copper plate? Write chemical equation for it​

Copper does not react withdilute sulphuric acid. So, no reaction takes place when dilute sulphuric acid is poured on a copper plate. But when concentrated sulphuric acid is pouredover copper plate, effervescence is observed. This happens because of formation of hydrogen gas.

hello mate,

no reaction will take place because hydrogen is more reactive than copper.

but an effervescent will be formed because of the hydrogen gas evolution....
