H2SO4+Zn--->ZnSO4+H2

so when sulphuric acid reacts with zinc a salt znso4 formed and H2 gas releases.

the reaction between zinc granules and sulphuric acid is Zn + HCl --- ZnCl2 + H2.
when zinc metal displaces the hydrogen to from hydrogen gas from its salt solution. Zinc reacts quickly with the acid to form bubbles of hydrogen.
