What happens when dry ice is stored in a closed container at ordinary temerature... why?

Dry ice is the solid form of carbon dioxide (co2) . It is stored under very low temperature and high pressures. If it stored in a closed container at ordinary temperature it would sublimate as its particle are not stable .
