What happens when electricity is passed through an object ? Plz explain in detail....TY

basically its all depend on the what type of objects they are
there r three types of objects
conductors-will pass electricity
insulators-wont conduct electricity
semi-conductors- will partially conduct elecrticity
some objects will become heat like metals and they are called conductors
other objects like wood will not conduct and they are called insulators
there r some more objects which will conduct partially they r called semi-conductors
so we can conclude that conductors will pass electricity and insulators wont conduct  and semi-conductors will partially conduct electricity
this is what will happen when electricity is passed through objects
