when there is electrolysis of water there is electrolytic decomposition reaction take place and the water is split out into hydrogen and oxygen .



★ there is twice the number of Hydrogen to the Oxygen gas is involved in the ratio of 2 is to 1




hydrogen gas heat produced at cathode



and Oxygen gas is produced at anod


there will be more production of oxygen.
