When Ethanol (CH3CH2OH) is burnt in air, carbon dioxide & water vapours are formed...

When Ethanol is oxidized using weak oxidizing agent such as pyridinium chlorochromate (PCC) or pyridinium dichromate (PDC), it produces Ethanaldehyde (CH3CHO)...

When Ethanol is oxidized using strong oxidizing agent such as acidified potassium dichromate (K2Cr2O7/dilH2SO4), it gives Acetic acid (CH3COOH)
