When ethene reacts with hit conc H2SO4, at 80°C and 30atm pressure ethanol is formed.

Reaction:
C2H4 + H2SO4--------> C2H5HSO4 + H2O

C2H5HSO4 + H2O -------> C2H5OH + H2SO4
