When fortune 'frowns' at a person, fate or luck (Kismet) stops favouring that person; his efforts don’t bear fruits; whatever he does, he usually fails. In the given context, referring to the last stanza of the poem in the picture attached with the question the explanation of the last stanza is given below:

If fortune stops favouring a man, then all the name and fame that he often received earlier are gone; his efforts and actions no longer bring him success and appreciation.

First of all, it is good to note that the word fortunate as used in the sentence means to be of a good luck, however, when fortunate frown on someone it simply mean someone is not of a good luck, or someone is of I'll luck or bad luck. Nevertheless, when fortune frowns at person *"hen farewell his great renown", it means that when one is ill luck, he or she became so lost maybe in thought until he forgets and losses his fame, asin he became infamous and his fame which people knew him off flied off into air. And also he loses the company of people aswell.
