Mg + FeSO4•7H2O = MgSO4•7H2O + Fe

Change in Free Energy: ΔG(20C) = -361.5kJ (negative, so the reaction runs)

Change in Enthalpy: ΔH(20C) = -374.1kJ (negative, so the reaction is exothermic)

NOTE: MgSO4•7H2O is commonly called Epsom salt.
