Hi friend!
ltz pleasure to help you with the question:
"What happens when Glucose combine with Oxygen?"

It can be answered on the basis of a very common process "Cellular Respiration" in which same reaction :OXYGEN REACT WITH GLUCOSE takes place.(in case aerobic respiration.)
During this process ,the inhaled oxygen reacts with the final product of nutrients -glucose and the by products of this reaction are Carbon dioxide and water and energy of 38 ATP.

So from this ,it is obvious that Carbon dioxide and water is produced which glucose reacts with oxygen(energy is not a substance).

When glucose combines with the oxygen it forms the carbon dioxide and water. It is called the aerobic respiration as oxygen is used in it. This process also takes place in our digestive system to produce energy.
Hope it helps.
