Green iron sulphate is FeSO4. During heating FeSO4 = Fe2O3 + SO2 + SO3. Type of reaction - decomposition.

Answer: 2FeSO4(s)----->Fe2O3(s)+SO2(g)+SO3(g)is the chemical equationExplanation: On heating, green crystal of ferrous sulphate (FeSo4) turns brown colour ferric oxide (Fe2O3) and sulphur dioxide (So2) and sulphur trioxide (So3) . Ferric oxide is solid whereas SO2 & and SO3 are gas.. This is a thermal decomposition reaction..
