your question should be framed like this
What happens when a sperm and an egg of two different species meet?

now answer
If two living beings that are genetically different or they are from different different species then they cannot produce offspring actually.

There are specific genetic receptors egg binds. the sperm Can only , allow entry into the egg. if the sperm are able to actually enter the egg, they would need to have genetics that actually worked together properly to produce a viable organism.

hope it will help you

Heya buddy !!!

Here's the answer you are looking for

Every organism has different chromosomal characters.
The arrangement of nitrogen bases A, T, G, C is different in different species.

The number of chromosomes is also different in different species. Like we have 23 pairs, other species like dogs may have different number.

That's why, reproduction can only take place among the same species. This is because , when the number of chromosomes and arrangement of nitrogen bases is same, they can fuse with each other to form a zygote.

But if different species try to mate , like your question says horse's sperm with human egg, then there will be difference in the structure of genes of both the organisms. Due to this different they won't be able to fuse with each other as a result of which no zygote will be formed and hence no offspring.
