what happens when hydrogen gas is added to copper oxide? ​

When hydrogen is added to Copper oxide then water is formed and copper oxide gets reduced to copper because of hydrogen being a strong reducing agent.

When hydrogen gas is added to copper dioxide, it forms water and copper

Reaction is as follows ~

CuO +H2=H2o +Cu
