What happens when: (i) conc. H2SO4 is added to Cu?

Nothing will happen as Cu is not that much reactive to displace H2 from the Sulphuric acid

When we added H2SO4 with Cu then

Cu replaces hydrogen and forms CuSO4 and H2^ gas is released .



This is the oxidation reaction .And also it is a displacement reaction .
