When Ice Changes it State from Solid to Liquid it Melts at atmospheric pressure but the temperature remains constant or we can say that the during the change of temperature the heat and energy is overcome by the ice to relay atmospheric pressure and because of these ice will remain at same temperature .

Point out that when water freezes, the water molecules have slowed down enough that their attractions arrange them into fixed positions. Water molecules freeze in a hexagonal pattern and the molecules are further apart than they were in liquid water. Note: The molecules in ice would be vibrating
