Answer:

Iron is more reactive than copper. If iron nails are placed in copper sulphate then iron nails will replace copper from copper sulphate making ferrous sulphate.

Word equation -

CuSo4 (Copper Sulphate) + Fe (Iron) = FeSo4 (Ferrous Sulphate) + Copper Metal
