What happens when washing soda is recrystallised from its aqueous solution. It's not washing soda that is getting recrystallised, it is sodium carbonate (Na2CO3) which recrystallises and forms washing soda (Na2CO3. 10H2O)... It becomes sodium hydrogen carbonate decahydrate .
