What happens when lead nitrate solution is added to pottasium iodide solution?

Answer: When a lead nitrate is added to the solution of a potassium iodide then chemical reaction takes place and form Potassium nitrate and lead Iodide.

Pb(NO₃)₂ + 2KI ⇒ PbI₂ + 2KNO₃

This is a double displacement reaction.
