In case of convex mirror ray becomes parallel to the optical axis after reflection and if ray is not going towards centre of curvature and if ray goes towards centre of curvature then ray is reflected back along the same path,
in case of concave mirror if ray is passing through centre of curvature then ray is reflected back along the same path and if ray is going through focus then ray becomes parallel to optical axis after reflection,
in case of concave lens if ray is passing through optical centre it will go straight after refraction through the lens and if ray is going towards focus of the lens it becomes parallel to optical axis after refraction through the lens,
in case of convex lens if ray is passing through optical centre it will go straight after refraction through the lens and if ray is passing through focus it will become parallel to the optical axis after refraction through the lens.
