What happens when magnesium bromide comes in contact with chlorine?

Being more reactive than bromine, chlorine easily displaces the former from its compounds. The products in this reaction are magnesium chloride and bromine.

MgBr2 + Cl2 ——→ MgCl2 + Br2

This is a simple displacement reaction. The equation is already balanced.
