What happens when Magnesium Carbonate reacts with Sulphuric Acid? Name the gas evolved out. Write the test for identifying the gas evolved in this reaction.​

CO2 is evolved

Test: It turns lime water milky and has no effect on acidified potassium dichromate paper

MgCO3 + H2SO4 -> MgSO4 + H2O + CO2
