AS WE KNOW THAT SODIUM CHLORIDE IS MADE UP OF IONS . SO WATER IS. BENZENE IS A ORGANIC COMPOUND.CARBON DO NOT FORM IONIC BONDS. SODIUM CHLORIDE CRYSTAL IS PUT INTO BENZENE THIS SOLVATION CANNOT OCCUR BECAUSE BENZENE IS NOT POLAR AND IT CANNOT MAKE UP THE FORCES... WAS IT HELPFUL
