Heya,
Egg shell is mage up of a compound called Calcium Carbonate.
When it reacts with nitric acid,it forms Calcium nitrate ,carbin dioxide and water.
CaCO3 + 2HNO3 ⇨ Ca(NO3 )2 + CO2 + H2O
