Usually, non-metals do not react with dilute acids to form salt and hydrogen gas as in the case of metals.
U can take any non metal, for eg:- wood
add dilute acid to it, it would not react. Further, if u heat it, then also, no reaction would take place
Thus non metals do not react with dilute acids
