what happens when oil and water gets mixed up? why

Even when you mix oil and water together they still separate. The oil always floats to the top because it is less dense than water. Oil and water don't mix becausewater molecules are more attracted to each other than to oil molecules. Detergent molecules are attracted to both water and oil

oil and water never mix this is because oil is less dense hence it will float its also because water molecules are more attracted to each other than to oil molecules HOPE THIS HELPS
